OPERATION
👉 The Compact Single Shaft Shredder operates on heterogeneous medium-hard materials using a combination of impact, cutting, and braking processes.
👉 The shredding process is based on a rotor-stator mechanism. Material is fed into the hopper, from where it drops into the shredding chamber.
👉 Once the machine starts, the material is advanced by a plate moved by a hydraulic pusher, which presses the material against the rotor.
👉 This configuration enables shredding of even large pieces, which stay in the shredding compartment until they are reduced to the appropriate size to pass through the screen.
👉 The rotor shaft is driven by an electric motor connected to a gearbox. The bottom part of the shredder is sealed with a screen grid. Shredded material dimensions can be pre-selected by choosing the appropriate screen.
👉 The Compact Single Shaft Shredder is suitable for reducing the size of a wide range of plastic materials such as purgings, lumps, profiles, cut pieces of pipes, and molded plastic components.
