OPERATION

👉 Single shaft shredder operates on heterogeneous medium hard material by impact, cut, and brake process.

👉 The shredding process works on a rotor-stator device. Materials are fed into the hopper, from where they drop into the shredding chamber.

👉 Following machine start, the material is advanced by a plate moved by a hydraulic pusher, which pushes it against the rotor.

👉 This configuration allows the shredder to handle even large pieces, which remain in the shredding compartment until they reach the correct dimensions to pass through the screen.

👉 The rotor shaft is driven by an electric motor connected to a gearbox. The bottom part of the shredder is closed off by a screen grid, and the shredded material dimensions can be pre-selected based on the screen assembly.

👉 The Single Shaft Shredder is ideal for reducing the size of various plastic materials such as purging/lumps, profiles, heavy wall thickness pipe cut pieces, plastic moldings, and more.
