OPERATION

👉 Single shaft shredder operates on heterogeneous medium hard material by impact, cut and brake process.

👉 The shredding process works on a rotor-stator device. Material is fed through the hopper, from where it drops into the shredding chamber.

👉 Following machine start, the material is advanced by a movable hopper controlled by a hydraulic pusher, which pushes it against the rotor.

👉 This kind of configuration allows the machine to shred even large pieces, which remain in the shredding compartment until they reach the desired dimensions to pass through the screen.

👉 The rotor shaft is driven by an electric motor connected with a gear box. The bottom part of the shredder is closed off by a screen grid. Shredded material size can be pre-selected based on the assembled screen.

👉 Single shaft shredder is suitable for reducing the size of a wide range of plastic materials like purging/lump, profiles, heavy wall thickness pipes, plastic molding, etc.
