OPERATION

👉 Single shaft shredder operates on heterogeneous medium hard material by impact, cut, and brake process.

👉 The shredding process works on a rotor-stator device. Material is fed in through the hopper, from where it drops into the shredding chamber.

👉 Following machine start, the material is pushed forward by a plate moved by a hydraulic pusher, pressing it against the rotor.

👉 This configuration allows shredding of even large pieces, which remain in the shredding compartment until they are reduced to the desired size to pass through the screen.

👉 The rotor shaft is driven by an electric motor connected to a gear box. The bottom part of the shredder is enclosed with a screen grid. Shredded material dimensions can be pre-selected based on the assembled screen.
