OPERATION

👉 The single shaft shredder operates on heterogeneous, medium-hard materials through a combination of impact, cutting, and braking processes.

👉 The shredding process utilizes a rotor-stator mechanism. Materials are fed into the hopper and drop into the shredding chamber.

👉 Once the machine starts, the material is advanced by a movable hopper controlled by a hydraulic pusher, which pushes it against the rotor.

👉 This configuration enables the shredder to handle even large pieces, which remain in the shredding compartment until they reach the desired size to pass through the screen.

👉 The rotor shaft is powered by an electric motor connected to a gearbox. The bottom part of the shredder is enclosed with a screen grid, and shredded material dimensions can be pre-selected based on the screen used.

👉 The single shaft shredder is suitable for reducing the size of a wide range of plastic materials, including purgings, lumps, profiles, cut pieces of heavy wall thickness pipes, and molded plastic components.
