OPERATION

👉 The single shaft shredder operates on heterogeneous medium-hard materials through impact, cutting, and braking processes.

👉 The shredding process functions using a rotor-stator mechanism. Materials are fed into the hopper, from where they drop into the shredding chamber.

👉 After the machine starts, material is advanced by a movable hopper, which is controlled by a hydraulic pusher that pushes the material against the rotor.

👉 This configuration enables shredding of even large pieces, which remain in the shredding compartment until they reach the desired size to pass through the screen.

👉 The rotor shaft is driven by an electric motor connected to a gearbox. The bottom part of the shredder is closed by a screen grid. Shredded material size can be pre-selected based on the assembled screen.

👉 The single shaft shredder is suitable for reducing the size of a wide range of plastic materials, including purgings, lumps, profiles, heavy-wall thickness pipes, and molded plastic components.
